The Russian Science Foundation actively encourages international research
cooperation, assisting the best Russian researchers to participate in
collaborative research projects with researchers abroad based on the
principles of excellence, parity funding, credible independent peer-review and
mutual trust. Today we secured a diversified portfolio of bilateral
collaborations with 13 funders in Europe and Asia. Depending on the partners,
we fund blue-sky, bottom-up research but also offer top-down, more targeted joint funding programs.
